Fan Experience w/ Andy Mineo - Roadshow Tour 1/23/14

Initially, this was an early birthday gift for my good friend Nayomi in which she did NOT know & yet enjoyed herself! This fan experience entailed a meet & greet with Andy Mineo, a signed limited edition Neverland poster, photo opportunity, Q&A, a chance to go on stage & a free version of his new EP - Neverland.

As he rolled in on his skateboard he greeted everyone & informed us we will be joining him on stage during his "Uno Uno Seis" song & do the Harlem Shake. He went around and passed out the limited edition Neverland poster  & signed it for us individually. When he got to Nayomi he was confused in the spelling of her name. Geez Nayomi, you're like the ONLY person that spells it that way, you're special! Then he sang her name to her, it was a mighty moment for Nayo, lol!  He also did a Q&A session, in which very good questions were asked by the group of 25 & he delivered his answers sincerely, honestly & humbly. We were able to listen to some of his new music off of his EP - Neverland, which is out now on I-Tunes & has ranked #1 might I add. & then it was time for photos - which you will see below!

Overall, he is a real cool dude that knows what he's doing for the Kingdom of God as a hip-hop missionary despite the backlash he gets. He mentioned to me he really liked San Antonio & would love to come back. This was a great experience for Nayomi & I - in which we are both grateful for.  Happy early birthday Nayomiii :)

Our good Puerto Rican friend Michael was also there, woo!

Goodbye 2013, Hellooo 2014!

2013 flew by quite fast...but it was a memorable one. I lost a job but got a better one with higher pay, traveled to Pennsylvania & New York, I was able to mentor three girls, finished four classes in graduate school, & visited family in California after not seeing them for 5 1/2 years. God has been faithful despite the circumstances that came, I just had to remain still & recognize that He is working even when it seems like nothing was going to happen.

Things to look forward to in 2014:
Mom's Graduation from UTSA
Danny's Graduation from St. Mary's University
Papi's 50th birthday
Turning 24 years YOUNG
Orlando, FL - COG General Assembly
Master's Degree Graduation
& many more...!

Here's to 2014!
